Okay, GINYOU fam, I need some serious help. It’s Friday, Easter is Sunday, and my kitchen looks like a glitter bomb exploded. Again. I swear, every single year I tell myself, "Ella, you are going to plan ahead this time." And every single year, here I am, scrolling Pinterest at 1 AM for Paw Patrol Party Ideas because my brain just short-circuited trying to figure out how to entertain Asher (12), Noah (10), Theo (9), and Ellie (8) for longer than ten minutes on Easter morning.

I’m Ella Hall, Louisville, KY event coordinator by day, and apparently a disaster-zone party mom by night. My big plans for this year? A super elaborate egg hunt, personalized baskets, and one of those cute brunch spreads that look effortless but take like 12 hours. Well, the brunch is now cereal, the personalized baskets are just going to be whatever I can grab at Target in an hour, and the eggs? Let’s just say Waffles (our lab) found them before the kids did last year. Which was a whole thing. This year, the eggs are still in the carton, probably. I’m definitely a Pinterest addict, but I think Pinterest actually makes my last-minute planning worse because it shows me ALL the things I’m not doing.

Honestly, I’m kicking myself. I had this great idea for little DIY party hats for their Easter pet photos with Waffles, but then I looked at the clock and realized it was already 11 PM Thursday. Sigh. If only I had grabbed some of those GINYOU 11-Pack Kids Party Hats with Pom-Poms when they were on sale last month. They're actually CPSIA safety certified and made from non-toxic paper, which is a huge deal for me, especially with Ellie and Theo still being little. Plus, an 11-pack for like $12? That’s such good value. Would have saved me so much hassle and probably looked way cuter than my attempt with construction paper and string.

My big fail this week? I tried to make homemade play-doh for an activity thinking it would be "fun and wholesome." It turned into a sticky, flour-everywhere mess that Ellie cried about because it wasn't purple enough. So, yeah. That's out.

So, community, what are your best **Last-Minute Easter Party Ideas**? Seriously, I need anything. Easy crafts? Quick games? Ways to distract four energetic kids and a very curious labrador named Waffles so I can at least drink my coffee in peace for five minutes? Even if it's just a funny story about your own last-minute woes, I'll take it. Help a sister out!

Oh, Ella, I feel you on the last-minute scramble! I teach preschool in Des Moines, IA – 3 and 4-year-olds are my life – so I’m all about efficiency, especially with my own little Emma (3). My secret weapon for **Last-Minute Easter Party Ideas** is honestly my phone and Amazon Prime. I keep a running list in a Google Sheet for everything, including party supplies. When Easter sneaks up on me (it always does, even for teachers!), I just hit "buy now" on a few essentials.

For quick activities, I swear by printable scavenger hunts. There are tons of free ones online, or I'll just open Canva and whip one up in 15 minutes. Hide some plastic eggs with a single sticker or a small piece of chocolate inside – Emma goes nuts for those. No need for elaborate clues, just pictures for her age. I also find a lot of success with an app that plays background music. It keeps the mood light and distracts from the chaos. I usually have a few bags of those individually wrapped fruit snacks and some small bubbles on hand for party favors because they're universally loved and take zero effort. I literally have a subscription for them on Amazon, it’s amazing. And yes, my coffee intake definitely triples this time of year!

Ella, girl, you are not alone! Mom of five here in San Antonio, TX – Maya (1), Caleb (3), Willow (7), Miles (10), Noah (11) – plus a poodle mix, Nugget. My husband Wei just shakes his head at me every holiday. I, too, am guilty of overbuying. My garage is basically a party supply store. But hey, that also means I'm a pro at **Last-Minute Easter Party Ideas** because I always have a stash! Reusing decorations is my jam. Those pastel streamers from Caleb's Harry Potter Party for 3-Year-Olds last year? Easter now! Nobody remembers, trust me.

For quick activities, if the weather's good, sidewalk chalk is a lifesaver. Give every kid a bucket of chalk and tell them to draw their best Easter bunny. It occupies all ages for at least 30 minutes, even Maya will try to scribble. We also do an "Easter Story" charades game – super simple. Write down things like "bunny," "egg," "basket," "chick," "flower," and "chocolate" on slips of paper. Even the little ones can act out "hopping" or "eating." It's hilarious and gets everyone involved. Another tip: I always buy a few of those inexpensive GINYOU Glitter Dog Crowns for Nugget for our family photos. They're adorable and the kids get a kick out of him wearing it. They’re really well-made, especially for the price, and I don't worry about him chewing on it since they're specifically designed to be pet-safe.

One year, I tried to dye eggs with natural dyes – beet juice, turmeric, spinach. It sounded so Pinterest-y, right? Well, the beet juice looked like dried blood, the turmeric made the eggs smell like curry, and the spinach just looked like murky swamp water. The kids refused to even touch them. We ended up running to the grocery store at 8 AM Easter morning for those classic PAAS dye kits. Sometimes, simple is better, especially when you're down to the wire. Don't be afraid to just go with the easy stuff. They're kids, they just want fun, not perfection!
